Office buildings have increasingly higher requirements for lighting technology, and different lighting areas need to be paired with different lighting methods. Regarding the overall design of office lighting, the goal is to make employees work more continuously and efficiently. Therefore, how to create a harmonious and safe office lighting environment is also a key point in lighting design. 

Basic Requirements for Office Lighting Design:

1. Since office hours are mostly during the day, artificial lighting should be designed in combination with natural lighting to create a comfortable lighting environment.

2. Fluorescent lamps are recommended for office lighting fixtures.

3. Surfaces near visual tasks and interior decoration in the room should ideally use non-glossy decorative materials.

4. General office lighting should be designed on both sides of the work area. When using fluorescent lamps, the fixture's long axis should be parallel to the horizontal line of sight. Fixtures should not be placed directly in front of the work position.

5. When it's difficult to determine the work positions, large-area, low-brightness, bi-directional batwing distribution lamps can be chosen.

6. In offices with computer terminals, reflections of people or objects (like lamps, furniture, windows, etc.) should be avoided on the screen.

7. Ideal office environments and methods to avoid glare.

8. Lighting in a manager's office should take into account the desk illumination, reception area lighting, and necessary electrical equipment.

9. Meeting room lighting should focus on illuminating the area above the conference table to create a sense of focus and concentration. The brightness should be appropriate, with additional auxiliary lighting around it.

10. For auditorium stage lighting mainly used for gatherings, ceiling lights can be used in combination with supplementary lighting installed at the front of the stage.
