Balcony courtyard

A terrace usually refers to a rooftop platform in a residence or a large balcony on other floors created due to building structure needs or to improve the combination of indoor and outdoor spaces. Because it generally has a large area and no roof on top, it’s called a terrace.

A terrace courtyard is a well-lit space, and nighttime lighting also extends the warm days spent outdoors or semi-outdoors. In terms of functionality, it’s recommended to plan for enough power outlets, such as for a barbecue on the table in summer or for Christmas tree lights in winter. The ideal design should be comfortable, safe, green, and energy-efficient.
